Today we were lucky enough to have Zayna and Jackie, librarians from the Pakuranga Library visit our room.
They shared some brand new books with interactive texts. The Librarians taught us fun rhymes and action songs. We discovered that some of the children in our class, have their very own library cards and use the library with whanau already.
Jackie and Zayna invited us to come down to the library on Wednesday and Thursday afternoons. There is a special programme at 4 o'clock suitable for ages 5+.
Check out the notice below with more details. The good news is that it's free for all of us!

It is so great to see the Pakuranga Librarians come to share their knowledge and read stories to the children. How fabulous. Yes, Jack has a library card and we often visit the Pakuranga Library to issue out books and puzzles. Whilst there, we also like to sit quietly and read the 'read only' books which are pop-up books. We loved seeing these photos! We especially love the one with coloured materials being waved around! Thank you for sharing!
